Unconditional Love

How to express unconditional love to your teens

Teenage years are a transitional period from childhood to adulthood. It can be an annoying, perplexing time for parents, yet it is fascinating. During teen years, when teenagers are seeking to establish their own identities, parents sometimes feel they are being pushed away. Teenagers are very hungry for parental approval. They still need and want their parents to be involved in their lives. One study has found that 70 percent of teenagers name their parents as the people they most admire. Many teenagers need their parents’ love, guidance, hugs, affection, and encouragement. Studies indicate that parental support is one of the most important contributions to their teenager’s development.”
